For the Year of the Women*, the Schwules Museum honours the activist Mahide Lein with a special exhibition. This will be presented as part of the historical overview exhibition Tapetenwechsel (Change of Scenery), which traces the gay and lesbian emancipation movement from the Middle Ages to the present day.
