For the closing of colony on 15 April performance artist Jibz Cameron from Los Angeles will come to Schwules Museum and perform Dynasty Handbag: it’s a mixed-media comedic performance wrapped in a saggy leotard dipped in feminist fury.
The New Yorker called it “outrageously smart, grotesque and innovative.” The New York Times says Cameron represents “the most insanely funny, tone-perfect pieces of performance art I have seen in years”.
